Conferences
AM-Tech has a long tradition of presenting conferences. The first one day Maintenance Forum was presented in 1990, with the first 3 day World Trends in Maintenance Engineering following in 1997. Of late, it has become a habit to have a two day idea-sharing Forum bi-annually at the Mount Amanzi resort (Hartebeestpoortdam).
Conferences are important forums for Asset Managers to exchange ideas, and learn from World Experts in the field. Unfortunately, there are many conferencing organisations misusing this need of the Asset Management / Maintenance fraternity to present conferences of dubious value. This trend prevented us from presenting our conferences as regularly as we wish, because of the high organisational load posed and the risk involved to a regular consulting business.
